About the role:
We are looking for a Demi Au Pair Coordinator to join our Newmarket site, commencing in March 2019.

Duties include:
• Ongoing recruitment and assessment of Demi Au Pair Host Families 
• Placing Demi Au Pairs with Host Families 
• Supporting Demi Au Pairs and Host Families with mentoring, support and mediation/resolution of any issues that arise 
• Post-placement evaluations 
• Supporting and contributing to Demi Au Pair programme development in liaison with the Reporting Manager
• Provision of data from Auckland campus for the purpose of reporting, Participating in regular meetings with the Reporting Manager 
• Responding to enquiries and questions from agents 
• Providing content for regular broadcast communication with Demi Au Pair agents
• Participating in professional development
• Attendance at staff meetings when required
• Familiarisation with relevant sections of the NZ Code of Practice for Pastoral Care of International Students, and ensuring compliance with Code requirements 
• Responding to after-hours issues or emergencies in an appropriate timeframe Monitoring students' general well-being and responding to any concerns 
• To advise the Reporting Manager of any serious or potentially serious concerns about the welfare of any of the students

Skills/Experience:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Problem solving skills / solution-oriented
  • Ideally experience working with international students / international education sector / working with people of different cultures
  • Quality customer service
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office / database systems
  • Attention to detail

Reporting Duties
