We are looking for a full time, permanent Short Courses Coordinator to join our Christchurch team. In this role you will work with key customer groups within business and education to pitch, promote and sell Yoobee School of Design training services.   

Key Duties include: 
• Contribute to marketing and sales campaigns
• Meet and exceed enrolment targets including selling short courses to all types of public, from high school students to large corporations
• Develop and lead on the outbound activity calendar for your region
• Management of stakeholder relationships and community engagement
• Participate in all fairs, expos, and campus initiatives aimed at driving enrolments seminars and any other marketing initiatives as directed by the Sales Manager – and be ready to be available outside normal working hours as required 
• Deliver and present monthly sales reports
• Invite key community stakeholders to visit colleges
• Keep sales, marketing and campus staff informed of promotional activities 
• Contribute with the development and delivery a six-monthly Stakeholders Engagement/Outbound Sales Plan

Skills/Experience: 
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales and account management role – ideally in a special sales environment
• A sales, communication or marketing tertiary qualification.
• On job experience in implementing sales and promotional activities and achieving targets.
• Excellent communicator, both verbal and written.
• Sound design skills in producing collateral
• High level of initiative and an ability to work in a team environment.
• Highly organised with the ability to complete tasks and achieve outcomes.
• The ability to follow up on leads and close a sale.
• Confident computer skills with experience in CRM systems.
• B2B and B2C sales/marketing experience.
• Outgoing, friendly, organised, prepared to go the extra mile. 
• Current New Zealand driver’s license
• A passion and inherent interest in everything Creative and Tech

Primary Objective:  This role will work with key customer groups within business and education to pitch, promote and sell Yoobee School of Design training services.  

The role is responsible for ensuring there is support for each campus Short Course team, for a seamless enrolment. This includes STAR, short courses, and Professional Development Training courses. 

This will involve developing and growing the Yoobee Short Course revenue and awareness in your market area.  

Work with the short course to achieve annual revenue and enrolment targets for: 
• STAR
• Professional Development Training courses
• Public Short courses
• PD for teachers
• New training products as they are developed 

This includes:
• Email and direct mail campaigns
• Business visits to establish partnerships 
• Support B2B marketing and sales campaigns 
• Attending events such as conferences and expos 
• Sales visits
• Organising leaning resources
• High Schools visits
• Telemarketing
• Competitions
• Sales promotions
• Public relations
• Ensuring that website and collateral are up to date
• Develop and implement an annual sales plan for Yoobee training services  
• Work with the Short Course Team leader, Marketing Co-ordinator and Sales Manager to develop an annual sales and promotional plan to generate growth. 

Key Accountabilities:

Sales:
• Meet and exceed student short courses enrolment targets across the Creative Colleges in your region.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of both individual and company sales strategies.
• Contribute B2B marketing and sales campaigns 
• Create and grow a portfolio of corporate clients
• Ensure all tasks and follow ups are completed in a speedy manner.
• Ensure that CRM records are kept up to date by promptly and proactively contacting and engaging with new leads, ensuring that our sales process is followed and completed.
• Hit and ideally exceed all individual targets (targets based on enrolments, appointments made & appointments converted to visits).
• Keep up to date with campus activities, product knowledge in order to inject deep product knowledge to our outbound presentations and when managing enquiries.
• Be available to move across different campuses and perform efficiently in any stage of the sales process, if requested by [or agreed with] the Sales Manager.
• Have knowledge and ability to sell short courses to all types of public, from high school students to large corporations.
• Stakeholder Relationships and Community Engagement:
• Establish and maintain strong and mutually beneficial relationships with Key Stakeholders within the Creative & IT colleges’ target communities in order to:
- Support student advocacy and referrals
- Share the success of students
- Increase the profile of our colleges as a primary choice of study
• Develop and lead on the outbound activity calendar for your region.
• Build and grow Yoobee’s portfolio of corporate clients
• Participate in all fairs, expos, and campus initiatives aimed at driving enrolments seminars and any other marketing initiatives as directed by the Sales Manager – and be ready to be available outside normal working hours as required.
• Deliver a monthly Sales report, presenting your analysis of previous month’s activities, new relationships built, stakeholder’s insights and feedback, as well as your sales initiatives planned for the following month.
• Invite key community stakeholders to visit the colleges to promote courses and to provide insight to our colleges approach to learning.
• Build and grow the relationship with local high schools, resulting in substantial increase in the number of holiday and STAR course students
• Keep sales, marketing and campus staff informed of promotional activities being undertaken.
• Build and develop a network of relationships with diverse categories of external stakeholders (local and central government organisations, secondary schools, community groups, migrant communities, business entities, etc.) as potential sources of new students and providers of student support.
• Contribute with the development and delivery a six-monthly Stakeholders Engagement/Outbound Sales Plan – sign-off by the Sales Manager.
• Work with the Training Services Team Leader and Sales Manager to conduct analysis and measurement and report regularly on outcomes and pathways

What you need to have:
