We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced manger to lead the Applications Support Team to ensure successful delivery and maintenance of all ACG business software applications.  


Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Applications Manager will be responsible for leading the Applications Support Team, providing operational and strategic leadership and building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to ensure service delivery of business applications.

Duties include:
• Leading the Applications Support Team 
• Ensuring resource capacity is managed 
• Managing team performance & development and provide mentoring and guidance 
• Driving collaborations between the IT function and all other business areas
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the ACG group and 3rd party vendors
• Creating an environment for improving processes and practices
• Delivering application improvement proposals
• Create a positive and productive working environment that encourages team work and high standards of service and development


Skills/Experience:
• Experience of supporting and maintaining large scale applications within a wide range of projects and services
• Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
• Experience of managing a team, or the desire to develop your leadership potential 
• The ability to balance and manage multiple priorities 
• The ability to understand, and believe in, the importance of service
