We are seeking a permanent part-time (0.5 FTE) Teacher Aide to assist a small number of students at primary levels in their learning, commencing Term 1, 2018.

Title:   Teacher Aide
Reporting to:  Principal

Key Tasks and Functions

  • Provide in-class support for the student
  • Assist the student to achieve their learning goals
  • Assist the teacher to write the student’s IEP
  • Accompany the student on school trips where necessary
  • Work co-operatively with the teaching staff and assist them as directed
  • Maintain communication with the teacher about the student so that the teacher may communicate directly with the student’s parents/guardians
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding the student at all times
And to perform all other duties as may reasonably be required by the Classroom Teacher or the Principal.
