We are looking for a full time, permanent Quality Coordinator to join our team. The location of this role is flexible with the option to be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. We are looking to fill this role as soon as possible. 

This role oversees all Quality and Academic Support across the Creative Group and supports academic excellence through leadership of quality assurance processes. This role can be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. 

In this role you will: 
• Facilitate quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with NZQA rules and regulations
• Oversee Quality Management System policies and procedures pertaining to academic practices
• Manage academic partnerships (NZQA, External moderators, MOU) 

What you need to have:
• Minimum qualification – level 5 Certificate in Adult Teaching
• Experience in coordinating/managing group training experience in a multi-cultural environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of the New Zealand education industry and especially the tertiary sector
• Experience of the NZQA and TEC processes
• High level of interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Personal integrity, trustworthiness and credibility
• Self-starter with a high level of energy, drive and motivation, and the ability to focus these into achievement of identified accountabilities and targets
• Establishing courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently
• Working effectively and cooperatively with others; establishing and maintaining good working relationships
• Organising action to improve existing conditions and processes; using appropriate methods to identify opportunities, implement solutions and measure impact.

Quality Systems

Objectives
• Oversee Quality Management System policies and procedures pertaining to academic practices and students, and ensure these are accurately reflected in student information and are aligned to NZQA, TEC and MoE rules and regulations and are internally consistent.
• Support and facilitate a thorough understanding of the Quality Management System across and throughout the campus teams
• Drive and support the implementation of the quality assurance processes through HOFs at each Campus
• Coordinate the evaluation of programmes, tutors and facilities using student surveys

Key Accountability 
Moderation and Review 
• Plan and monitor moderation processes
• Follow-up with Head of Faculties and Campus Managers on moderation and review processes and results
• Support tutor understanding of the assessment and moderation processes and requirements
• Assist Head of Faculty and tutors with assessment design and moderation processes.
• Help staff to understand and prepare for any evaluative process, such as level 7 monitoring visits, consistency reviews and External Evaluation and Review

Key Accountability 
Academic leadership
• Act as an ambassador for the Group at all times and perform the duties of the position in accordance with the organisation’s core values
• Chair Board of Studies and report regularly to Academic Board meetings.
• Prepare document for outside parties such as collating documents for monitor's visits, programme review, consistency reviews and agendas for above mentioned meetings
• Assist the Academic Quality Assurance Manager with formatting of documents and any other tasks given relevant to the wider quality assurance role

To be successful you will have:
