Title:  Marketing Specialist: Creative Industries 
Reports to: Head of Marketing: Vocational

Role Purpose: The  Marketing Specialist: Creative Industries contributes to the Vocational marketing team by taking responsibility for full project management of campaign planning and execution across all formats 

The role will be responsible for:
The execution of campaigns from the ownership of print advertising, and providing insights and reporting for campaign tracking to ensure that activity is both innovative and effective in building, engaging and cultivating a powerful presence and profile for the organization. As well as having specific responsibilities around supporting marketing activities for the program offerings for a specific product within the Group portfolio and works alongside the Head of Marketing: Vocational to drive all initiatives forward.

The role is a key member of the marketing team and voice of Vocational and Creative Industoires, communicating brand personality and value, and engages and cultivates a powerful presence and profile for the organization, and leverages this to create strong and meaningful relationships with our customer groups. 

Key Accountability
• Project manage campaign planning and execution across all formats

• Traditional media - press and radio booked directly with suppliers
• Track and show ROI on all media booked 
• Monitor and manage all projects given 
• Budget tracking across International & Pathways and regular reporting
• Successfully multitasks and manages conflicting priorities well

• Drive the creation of strong internal working relationships and ensure that internal customers are provided with the highest levels of customer service through the effective performance of the marketing team
• Assist in development of traditional media plans by working with managers and any media partners 
• Act as a key liaison point for the Vocational/ Creative Industries marketing team and the various campuses
• Effectively contribute to the wider achievement of the ACG marketing team as well as the International & Pathways team, maintain awareness of all activities and support the success of these

• Develop a calendar of International & Pathways promotional campaigns through Outlook and SharePoint
• Develop, coordinate and distribute publicity schedules across the Vocational / Creative Industries 
• Internal customers and their needs are a primary focus; developing and sustaining productive customer relationships

• Ensure that campaign activity is both innovative and effective in building, engaging and cultivating a powerful presence and profile for the organization 
• Use appropriate methods to identify opportunities, implement solutions and measure impact

• Provide insights and reporting for campaign tracking
• Online presence and activity across the Group that is tangibly driving business performance 
• Clearly conveys information and ideas in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
• Continuously improving existing processes and approaches; 

• Be the font of knowledge of all ACG, International & Pathways images logos and marketing plans 
• Support the Head of Marketing: Vocational with the creation and proofing of any promotional content, including prospectuses, enrolment documents

• Works effectively and cooperatively with others; establishes and maintains good working relationships 
• Management of the ACG, Vocational / Creative Industries images, logos, marketing plans and other marketing-related documents and artwork in SharePoint and in the marketing server
• Effective and innovative, successful marketing strategy that contributes to improved business performance, on time, and within budget
• Build the Creative Industries brands to maintain and deliver an increase in enrolments

To be successful you will have:
• Ideally the applicant will have experience and knowledge of NZ education processes and policies
• Essential to hold a current New Zealand driver’s license
• Holds a relevant tertiary qualification
• Positive outlook with the ability to relate well to people from diverse backgrounds
