- Title: Teacher Aide
Reporting to: Principal
Key Tasks and Functions- Provide in-class support for the student
- Assist the student to achieve their learning goals
- Assist the teacher to write the student’s IEP
- Accompany the student on school trips where necessary
- Work co-operatively with the teaching staff and assist them as directed
- Maintain communication with the teacher about the student so that the teacher may communicate directly with the student’s parents/guardians
- Maintain confidentiality regarding the student at all times
